Outlander Sport

A major reason why individuals prefer purchasing a new car is the warranty it comes along with; a brand new car is generally guaranteed to not have any problems. Contrarily, a preowned or preloved vehicle is not considered suitable in providing the peace of mind. So what happens if your 2015 Outlander Sport starts giving you problem? Are you well-informed about your rights given the car you bought turned out to be faulty?

A Private Sale

This can be a nightmare if you had not taken the process seriously enough, not done your research, and not asked the right questions. The seller is under no legal obligation to provide you with any information unless you have asked for it. If the car is all right to be driven and they are operating within legal boundaries, then you are the one responsible if you have not 'seen" and identified any problems before buying it.

A Dealership

Alternative to purchasing it privately both in person and online, this is the safest route you could have adopted to get your 2015 Outlander Sport. It has the greatest legal protection and as such the least risk associated. Here the dealer is responsible for verifying the recorded mileage, for instance. Not to say you are entitled to an automobile that is perfect for the intended purpose, that it has an acceptable quality, and that it should be exactly (not even close) to the description you were told about in the advertisement or verbally.

The standard to check it against include factors like the history, age, mileage, value, make, safety, durability, and description. In general, the younger the car is and the lower its mileage, the better the deal.

The dealer is hold responsible if there were faults with the vehicle at the time of the deal, irrespective if they were discovered later. Note though, any wear or tear that came by from your use is not the dealer's responsibility nor are they to be blamed if they did point out the defect and you bought the car SUV still. But what's more, the dealer is responsible if they did not have the right to sell it in the first place.

What You Need to Do

If you bought a new or used car from a reliable dealership, follow these steps to fix the issue.

  • Check the warranty to assess what are the seller's responsibilities under the given circumstances.
  • Get in touch with them as soon as possible once you realized there is a problem.
  • It is imperative that you keep a record of all the communication to and fro you and the other party involved. Make sure you have a copy of any and all agreements henceforth in writing as well. If there is something that you did not understand at the time, ask them.
  • Same goes for the auto dealership. Request a written estimate for any service you have authorized as well as a complete invoice of the work done. You have the right to inspect it prior to repairs but a guarantee is usually provided by the shop voluntarily.

Lancer Evolution

Purchasing your car is one of most important decisions you take and once you have bought the car, your prime concern is to maintain it for as long as possible. With that in mind, having assessed beforehand how much a 2015 Lancer Evolution is going to cost you would be prudent.

Set a Budget

This is the first step you should take. Determine your expenses and your income (i.e. the take-home salary after taxes). Comparing the two, evaluate what how much exactly you can afford to spend. This may or may not be similar to how much you want to spend on a new vehicle. Also, it does not necessarily follow that you should buy an expensive vehicle simply because you can.

Take into account your different priorities as well as any "unexpected" costs that may crop up with time, including traffic tickets, customization or upgrades, accidents in addition to the recurring costs like maintenance, gas, and tax. This is important because not doing so will lead to grave consequences such as damage to your credit (due to missed payments) and even repossession of your vehicle.

Auto Loan and Down Payment

Budgeting for a car in many instances is akin to budgeting for a loan that generally runs from 3-6 years. Follow the rule of thumb, which suggests you spend only 20% of the monthly income on the monthly payments and not more that. Unless of course there are expenses (e.g. vacation budget) that you don't mind reducing or cutting away completely to afford the car, and unless you are not very comfortable to have a long-standing debt. In this case, the more you pay down, the better in terms of both interest rate and the number of repayments.

Negotiating and Not Budging

You have made the decision and you have secured financing before going to a reputable dealership. It was a wise decision because you know if you fulfill the requirements of a lender and you know where your credit stands, which is an edge if you would want to go ahead with the manufacturer's deal for financing the vehicle. Now is the time you research a car you can afford and take the one(s) for a test drive.

While you may be all determined to not stray from the budget, remember, the salesperson might be trying their best to sell you off a different model. The question thus being whether you want to blow off the time and energy you have invested in the process so far or not; for the latter, learn to say no to the anything different that is being offered; find your right car and negotiate its price.

Signing the Deal

The last step in treating yourself to a new 2015 Lancer Evolution. Do check the paperwork provided before signing.

Mitsubishi Outlander

Snow is a regular thing in winters in many of the states. This means that you have to take care of the prospect of ever getting stuck in the snow against the harsh elements as well. An attractive SUV, many people like to take it for off-roading or a road trip to the ski resort in winters. Here is what you should be prepared to do if you get stuck, and what you should not do.

The Do's

  • Do keep a small sack of sand or kitty litter in the car when the season changes. Both of these things make for great options when it comes to getting traction on your 2015 Outlander wheels. All you have to do is pour it around the tires.
  • Do work the lower gear. This is one trick that just works.
  • Do turn your steering wheel in both sides twice or thrice. This is what assists in loosening up the tires and helps you gain traction from the friction that your tires are creating moving side to side.
  • Do try rocking the Outlander. Between forward and reverse you may be easily able to gain traction and clear out the snow. That being said, you need to be super careful as this may easily damage the vehicle's transmission if you are unable to do it right.
  • Do try to clear the snow that has piled up around the tires. Removing the snow away from the tires should be your first instinct, plus it will help if you have to spread sand or kitty litter around them.

The Don'ts

  • Don't forget to check the tailpipe. When you are caught in snow, it is important that you take a look at this. If it is wholly covered then pushing on the pedal could actually make things worse by releasing toxic gases inside the Outlander.
  • Do not force the gas. By doing this, you may actually be making it worse for the car to get out of the snow. Giving the car too much gas does not help it gain traction. What you need to do is take it slow so that you may be able to dig the car out of the snow faster.
  • Don't leave the wheels turned when you are ready to get out of the snow, it is important that you ensure that the wheels are straightened.
  • Don't spin the tires. You may think this is one way rolling yourself out of the mess when in fact you are really creating more space for your car to sink in.

And there you go the tips that will help you get out of being stuck in the snow; though it is unlikely to happen with the 2015 Outlander but it is always good to be safe than sorry. If you are near Syracuse, Watertown or Adams take out one of the 2015 Outlanders for a test drive at Fuccillo Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi Lancer

There is nothing worse than ending up with a car that looks a hundred years old and worn out on the inside when you have only had it for a year. Here are some of the handy ways you can make sure that the upholstery in your 2015 Lancer remains good as new.

Coffee Spills

It is a very difficult task to be an early- before- work coffee drinker and not have a single stain of spill in your car to tell the story. But you can make it so, all you need to do is dilute the stain with cold water and blot it out with clean rags. If the stain is persistent then make use of a glass cleaner spray on; it always does the trick.

If the Carpeting Reeks

To get rid of the smell use Team Borax (20- mule) nicely over the carpet and let it stay there for around an hour before you vacuum up the unpleasant smells and the dirt. If you have a dog then here is an interesting thing: a second application of Borax is to kill fleas from the carpets.

Pen Ink Stains

Hairspray is very useful when it comes to getting rid of ink stains from pens. Salt is said to do the job but it does not do a great job as the hair product does.

Fading Carpet

You do not necessarily have to get new carpets every time that you notice the last ones are fading out a bit. There is an easier way to get away with it. Start by first vacuuming the whole carpet, and then proceed with covering it with solution of + cup clear ammonia with a pint of water. Use a sponge mop for this. If you want, you can test this out on a small area of the carpet first.

Carsickness Stains

You may frequently use the car with kids or your pets. These should be neutralized and diluted with baking soda and water or simply club soda. Vomit is acidic, so this is one that you need to take care of pronto.

A Grease Stain on the Carpet

Stains like this one can easily be removed when you rub paint thinner with a clean piece of cotton cloth. Once you are done with that, put salt on the patch of stain to absorb the persistent grease and simply vacuum it off.

Blood Stains

These are the least likely of all the stains though that does not stop them from being stubborn when removing. You can make a special paste with cold water and laundry starch and cover the stain area with it. Do not make the mistake of using warm water as that is what sets the stains permanently. Let the paste dry on the area before you vacuum or brush it off.

You can check out and take the 2015 Mirage out for a test drive at Mitsubishi Adams, if you are near Watertown, Syracuse or Adams.

Mitsubishi Mirage

If you are the person who is upset with how much you have to spend on your 2015 Mirage's fuel than you had to when you bought it good as new, then you might do good with replacing some of the car parts. This will also help you save money in the long term. Here are some of the parts that you can easily replace yourself after you order them online.

The Air Filter

This is the important part of your car that filters the air going through the engine. A dirty filter will soon cut down on the gas mileage. That being said, this is least likely to be the case with the 2016 Mirage since a faulty filter is one issue that decade old cars mostly face. However, it never hurts to check. Plus this is pretty easy a device to replace on your own.

The Mass Air Flow Sensor

The mass air flow sensor is one that allows air to go through the engine and sends the information to the computer; this is also what keeps the fuel injection, the transmission shifting, and the ignition system in check. This would be really easy for you to replace considering it's DIY.

The Spark Plugs

The spark plugs ignite the combination of fuel and air that is harbored in the combustion chamber of the engine. Once you get new spark plugs you will see for yourself how the engine begins to run more efficiently and smoothly. This takes fair effort to do on your own.

The Tires

The tires are just as important when it comes to influencing how much fuel your car sips. The tires get you better handling and traction while driving. The tires that are worn out, underinflated or are out of alignment can do a number on Mirage's fuel economy.

It is your job to check the pressure on a monthly basis so that you know there is optimum gas mileage as well as handling. This is also how you ensure that the tires on your car last longer. On the Do- it- Yourself scale changing this car part is pretty easy to do.

The Oxygen Sensor

This is the piece of machinery that keeps the exhaust flow in check after and before the catalytic converter, sending this information to the car's engine computer; this is what appropriates the level of the fuel injection.

The problem starts once this equipment gets faulty; it ends up sending the wrong information to the engine computer. The best practice is to make sure that you replace the car sensors once it hits more than 100,000 miles. On a DIY scale, this gadget is moderate to replace.

If you are near Adams, Watertown, or Syracuse, you can check out the 2015 Mirage at Fuccillo Imports.
